SERVICE
If people are going to see it, we want it to look right.
Stairs, rails, guards and custom pieces, fabricated in our shop and installed by our own crews.
Stairs, rails, guards and custom pieces are different from steel that disappears behind a wall. People touch this work. They look at it. We fabricate it in our shop and install it with crews who can talk directly to the people who made it.
- Stairs and landingsPan stairs, plate stairs and landings, from egress stairs to a feature stair in a lobby.
- Handrail and guardrailInterior and exterior rail, picket, horizontal bar and glass-ready systems, to the code the inspector is holding.
- Canopies and entry structuresEntry canopies, walkway canopies and cantilevered steel that has to look intentional.
- Custom architectural piecesCurved sections, feature frames and one-off pieces drawn once in an elevation and never detailed again.
- Gates, screens and enclosuresDrive gates, equipment screens and dumpster enclosures, galvanized where they need to last.
- FinishesPrime, paint or galvanize, coordinated so the finish matches the rest of the package.
This is the order we like to do it in.
- 01
Field measure
We measure the opening as built, not as drawn. Ornamental steel fails on the quarter inch between the two.
- 02
Shop drawings
You approve a drawing before we cut material, so the reveal, the picket spacing and the terminations are agreed in advance.
- 03
Fabricate in the shop
Cut, fit, weld and dress in a controlled shop rather than on a slab in the weather.
- 04
Finish
Prime, paint or send out for galvanizing, so it arrives in its final finish instead of getting touched up on site.
- 05
Install
The crew that built it sets it. Nothing gets lost between a shop and a subcontractor who has never seen the piece.

Can you match a rail that’s already there?
Usually. Send a photo and a measurement and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can match it or whether it will read as a repair.
Do you do residential work as well as commercial?
Yes. A good part of our ornamental work is interior stairs and rail in houses, alongside the commercial stair and rail packages.
Who handles the finish?
We do. Prime, paint or galvanize, depending on where the piece lives and how long it has to last outside.
Do you install what you fabricate?
Yes, and that’s the point. The crew that welded the piece is the crew that hangs it, so a fit problem gets solved by the person who made it.
Send Jorge the ornamental package.
Don't clean them up for us. Send the set, mark up what you're carrying and tell us when you need steel. We'll go through it and let you know what questions we have.
